'Ice Cream' did not disappoint us with perfectly round dark green leaves, each surrounded by a nicely contrasting wide golden border. In early summer, the 1' wide clumps are topped with attractive 16" scapes of light lavender flowers. H. 'Ice Cream' is a delightfully small hosta for a border or as a single specimen.
