His groves are over 100 years old and grow on the flanks of Mt. Etna, in mineral rich volcanic soils. It incorporates three different varieties of oranges; Tarocco Nocellara, Tarocco Gallo, and Tarocco Melis, all of which are peeled by hand prior to infusion in pure alcohol.
