The main body is shield shaped, and features a carnelian agate to the front, and a bloodstone to the back, with a crouching lion holding a ball under its paw on top. It opens to reveal two glass locket compartments within. The quality and craftsmanship are excellent, with fine hand chased detailing and an applied ropework border.
