The oval faceted stones are set in closed foil backed settings, they're uniform in size and display the most beautiful vivid colour. It's crafted in silver throughout with a hook and eye clasp, and it dates from the Victorian period, circa 1860. 17 inches wearable length. Paste gemstones were popular throughout the Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian eras.
