Antique subjects of tireless study byA woman artist and art critic, Lucie Cousturier has developed a personal and original work in the wake of the neo impressionist artists. She was born into a wealthy family who owned a doll factory: Les Poupes Br (named after his father Lon Casimir Br). She was a student of Paul Signac and Henri Edmond Cross and painted in a style close to these painters. Married in 1900 to Edmond Cousturier, painter and art critic, she exhibited at the Salon
