1920s "Plus Qu'Hier Moins Que Demain" Love Token Pendant brooch with only light wear commensurateDATE: Art Deco, c. 1920 An especially good example of the "PLUS (+) QU'HIER MOINS ( ) QUE DEMAIN" love token medallion, signed by its original creator Alphonse Augis. It's crafted in 18k yellow gold, and dates from the late 1920s the + set with diamonds, and the set with rubies. The design references a couplet by Rosemonde Grard, from 1889: "Car, vois tu, chaque jour je taime davantage, Aujourdhui plus quhier et bien moins que demain," which
